Grand Canyon one of the wonders of the world is well worth the effort of a hike. Remember though what goes down must come up. The Grand Canyon is 227 miles long and 1 mile deep. You may want to take a burro down to the bottom. The bottom is very different terrain than along the ridge you will find your desert oasis along the Colorado River. If you are not physically able to make it up the trail from the bottom the glass sky bridge may be an option for a different view. The Grand Canyon is well worth the effort you can always camp a day in the bottom and come up the next day.
